The villous cross section coverage is the sum of the villous cross section area and the percentage of the total area of the ground. High coverage of villus section indicates good fullness of suede.

1. Coverage of villus section

The villous cross section coverage is the sum of the villous cross section area and the percentage of the total area of the ground. High coverage of villus section indicates good fullness of suede.

2,Suede pile height

Suede pile height refers to the average height of a single pile standing upright on the surface of the fabric after cutting. When the height of the pile is higher, the suede is straighter and less elastic, but the suede is fuller.

3, Suede fullness

The fullness of the suede refers to the volume of pile on the ground cloth per unit area. It includes two factors: the coverage of villi and the height of villi. The unit of fullness of suede is "dense". The higher the "dense" number, the fuller the suede. The suede fullness of common weft velveteen is about 11 mi, and the suede fullness of warp velveteen is about 15 mi.

4,Pile consolidation tightness

The compactness of pile is the degree to which the pile yarn is pressed by the arrangement of ground warp and pile warp in the fabric organization. The greater the consolidation tightness, the better the consolidation fastness of the villi, and the less easy hair removal. The consolidation tightness of weft velvets is expressed by the organization tightness of the weft direction, which is equal to the sum of the warp tightness of the fabric plus the interweaving point tightness of the pile yarn and the warp yarn. The compaction of velvety pile indicates the degree to which the velvety warp is squeezed by the weft arrangement in the fabric.

5, Suede cover uniformity

The evenness of suede covering is expressed by the ratio of the warp and weft spacing of suede pile. It is an important indicator of whether to obtain a good velveteen style. The uniformity of lint coverage should be as close to 100% as possible. When the index is equal to 100%, it means that the distance between the warp and weft of the pile is equal, and the suede pile is evenly distributed, full and without stripe shadow, and has a good velvety style.
